Drawabox: The Fundamentals of Drawing by irshadkarim Drawabox: The Fundamentals of Drawing by irshadkarim
I made another flyer! The last one was unbelievably successful, so now that we've doubled the number of lessons, I decided to take a stab at another.

Not much need for a description since it's all there in the infographic, so I'll just leave some links.

I love you. <3
I'm going to start all the way from the beginning, so I can get a better foundation, because I have no idea what I'm doing right now and I need help. xD

I'm glad to hear that! It takes a lot of guts to acknowledge the fact that you've just been stumbling around for a long while, and to consciously decide to go back to the beginning. I had that moment after a good eight years of drawing whatever I wanted, and it was easily the best decision I ever made.

I already had /a very small/ idea of drawing, but I always felt I missed something. Maybe the basics. Exactly what you offer.

Thank you for showing us newbies how to do it. I'm now with the organic figures, trying to give them volume but it's not easy to do it correctly. Anyways, I must say your lessons are very practical and helpful. Thanks again for sharing what you know.

Glad I could help. Make sure to watch the video attached to the organic form with contour line exercise. It talks about the concept of wrapping contour lines around the forms, instead of having them simply go from one edge to another and stop abruptly.

My challenge is to make the initial "blob" tridimensional. I know that's what arrows are for, but I can't imagine them in a 3-d space. TY for replying me :)
Keep the awesome work.

Hope it helps! There's a good likelihood that there will be future lessons that are more environment-oriented, since that's what I do most often.
